Sea turtles, dolphins and whales are several of the marine species which inhabit the reserve, as well as birds such as the peregrine falcon, European shag, osprey, grey heron, gannet, tern, Balearic shearwater, and Scopoli shearwater, etc.

The Marine Environment and Fishing Service of the Town Council of Dénia and the Montgó Natural Park Interpretation Centre organize diverse guided visits to the Marine Reserve.
